Protocol Symposium 2024

The Protocol Symposium 2024 was the inaugural annual Protocol Symposium, organized as the capstone event of the Summer of Protocols 2024 program. The week-long online gathering brought together researchers, practitioners, and teaching fellows from across the SoP24 research community for presentations, discussions, and collaborative sessions.

The symposium marked the conclusion of a second year of Summer of Protocols research and set the foundation for the Protocol Institute's ongoing annual convenings. Sessions encompassed research presentations, collaborative workshops, and discussions of emerging directions in protocol theory and practice — drawing on contributions from SoP24 fellows across a wide range of disciplines.
